Originally from southern Indiana, Eli launched his acting career at Actors Theatre of Louisville before studying at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). After performing in the world premiere of The Twunny Fo' at the Know Theatre of Cincinnati, Eli appeared in Touch Me, an official selection of the 2025 Sundance Film Festival & SXSW Film Festival.
